Consulting and Employment Activities:
Designed and supervised coastal engineering projects including port dredging and reclamation, shoreline protection and small craft marina.
Developed South Florida Water Management District's stormwater management planning strategy and level of service designations for flood control.
  • Managed implementation of Surface Water Improvement and Management Plan (SWIM) for Biscayne Bay and development of SWIM Plan for the Everglades.
  • Managed Southern Everglades and Florida Bay restoration projects.  Chaired inter-agency federal and state team in formulating Everglades National Park and Florida Bay restoration plans.
  • Supervised real-time water control structure operations for South Florida Water Management District's regional water management system. 
  • Consulted on hurricane emergency planning for national roadway service company; design of water quality treatment for design of airport de-icing facilities; flooding incidents in Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and Bolivia; sedimentation of detention ponds.
